We had a very successful
open day. I was pleasantly surprised at how many folk pitched up, and how
enthusiastic and supportive everybody was. It was lovely to see many old
and new faces, and to have the chance to explain my new venture.
I've already had my first
"sourcing" job and am currently busy with others, which I'll keep you
posted on.
The open day, was really
about creating a platform to launch this new venture. I'd spent some time
gathering beautiful things that caught my eye. People were then invited
to come and see my treasures and get an idea of what I like. Some even
did a bit of shopping...

Some time back, my mum and
I taught Hannah, our wonderful nanny, to knit tea cozies and hot water bottle
covers. Needless to say that more than a few of these went away tucked
under the arms of happy customers.
